From Matt

Duration: 11 nights. Crew: 9

Our travel plans were compromised by an established accommodation provider in central Apia so we searched for an alternative provider.
I contacted Alavine and the service received was truly superior and genuine friendly. It was an end-to-end effort from the first contact right to the end. Terrence assisted us from every angle because our situation constantly changed. Adapting to change is key in this industry and the staff and management team at Samoa Holiday Homes certainly know how to be resilient! On top of this all, we received a free tour of Apia city to familiarise ourselves with the roads around the city with a brief advisory on the DO's, DONT's and the MUST. You are greeted with a natural, warm welcome from Phil when you walk out from the arrivals gate, checked in by the lovely Alavine who's passionate about your well-being at the hotel (mind you check-in only took us 2-3 minutes!)invited to your cozy and modern, air-conditioned rooms with crispy cold filtered water in a jug calling to you in the fridge. Other facilities provided include a ceiling fan in the foyer of your apartment, bar style seats in your kitchen, electric stove with pots and cooking utensils, microwave, and toaster. In all, I cannot stress how painfully in love I was with Samoa Holiday Homes and I cannot wait to return and dine and relax in the new restaurant (currently nearing the end of construction) followed by a dip in the inviting nearside pool. My advice to all prospective guests, you dont know what you're missing and who would say no to accommodation that includes vehicle hire in their price? Give them a try. We did and it was the best out of all the other well established hotels in Apia that we've come across and guest care is truly genuine and incomparable.

From Hari

Well firstly we arrived at the airport with a greeting smile waiting for us at the arrival gate, and the service from there on for the whole 8 days we were blessed to be in Samoa was just awesome.. The staff went beyond the call of duty to make us feel comfortable on our holiday which made my experience more enjoyable, the houses were so beatiful just like the photos showed on-line but more realistic and once i saw where we were staying i knew we were about to have a good time at Samoa Holiday Homes.. The pool was the best place to unwind after a long day (or night) and i was completely in love with the air-con it was like my best friend protecting me from the Samoan heat.. Samoa Holiday Homes was the perfect choice of accommodation for us as the satff made it feel like a second home "its not the place, its the people" is adequit enough to describe Samoa Holiday Home and i just wana say a big THANK YOU for l;ooking after us.!

Kia ora and aroha! Wish to thank you on behalf of our principal, staff members, parents and students of Porirua College, for an enjoyable trip to Samoa, Oct 2011. Staying at Samoa Holiday Homes was the best choice for us. Yeah...Cool Heights!! Our Malaga thoroughly enjoyed the cool breeze, fresh air after the hot rides each day riding the buses, vans etc. But it was the students who splashed into the swimming pool to cool off, just as well, or they would be complaining of the heat. Everyone loved the spacious and neat rooms of the newly built apartments, and missed lounging around in the Samoan fale - a reminder of the living culture. The inviting and welcoming atmosphere created by staff and family is a bonus. Faafetai lava! We highly recommend this place to others who are planning to go to Samoa at any time. Our Malaga misses Ululoloa Heights and we love Samoa. Definitely we will be back one day. Ka kite!

I stayed at Samoa Holiday Homes with my son and my sister during Teuila Festival 2011 and we were quite pleasantly surprised.
We opted for one of the new suites because we wanted a bigger kitchen and it was beautiful, away from the busy (and somewhat dusty) streets of Apia but within 2 minutes of the Cross Island Road to the Southern beaches.
Our hosts were very accommodating of our requests and let my son have a couple of his mates over for a swim in the hotel pool. And the air con works, unlike most hotels in Apia.
They're building a restaurant on site (yeay!!!) and with all that construction, we did not hear any noise throughout our stay. If you see the style of the buildings, how they use the traditional Samoan way of constructing so I guess that's why there were no nails and hammering and jack hammers!!!
So considerate, so eco- friendly and very helpful hosts.
What more can you ask for?
This is now my new home away from home and I will be staying there again this coming Christmas with my Mum and my son.

Faafetai tele lava and God Bless,
Ymania Brown

Had a fantastic week in Samoa during August and had the pleasure of staying at Samoa Holiday Homes who made us feel very welcome. From the moment Phil picked us up from the airport until Terrance dropped us off a week later we were made feel very welcome. Alavine was very accomodating and arranged the rental of a vehicle for a couple of days so we could drive around the island which was most enjoyable.
The accomodation was very quiet and extremely clean.
